People take dance classes for any number of reasons – to get more exercise, to meet new friends or simply to gain confidence. There are some students, however, who won’t be satisfied until they’ve achieved the highest level of proficiency in social dancing. For these dancers, Arthur Murray Dance Center of Gaithersburg offers the Gold Program. Learn more about our professional dance classes to see if this high-level program is right for you.
Who Should Enroll in the Gold Program?
While our Introductory Basic, Associate Bronze, Full Bronze and Silver Programs are designed for students who want to dance for personal satisfaction, the Gold Program is intended for highly skilled dancers who are interested in competitions, exhibitions and other performances. Because of the advanced techniques studied in these classes, students are required to work hard and give each lesson their all. By doing so, they can master any or all of the dances we teach at a more professional level.
Because of the intricate patterns and complex concepts addressed in the Gold Program, it’s important that every student and his or her partner are of the same skill level. With equal proficiency, you’ll be able to learn together and take advantage of all the classes have to offer.
For the Best of the Best
Our instructors are just as passionate about dancing as you are, and they’re committed to helping you deliver the best performance possible. To do so, classes will address choreography, styling and technique to hone your skills and showcase your talents.
Showmanship is also an important aspect of competitive social dance. It’s not enough to simply know the steps and move with grace. Instead, competitive dancers must evoke a powerful response from their audience. The Gold Program will prepare you to dance like a pro in every way, from strong fundamentals to expert performance skills to help you rise to the top.
